Privacy policy
Privacy at MnemoWords
This policy describes the public MnemoWords website. We update it when accounts, analytics, advertising, payment features, or data practices change. Effective August 23, 2026.
Information the public website handles
You can read the current word cards and study guides without creating an account. The initial website does not ask for a name, password, payment information, or profile. If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to include so we can respond.
Like most web services, the hosting provider may process routine request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, date and time, and security logs. Image requests are delivered through a content delivery network and may produce similar technical logs.
Cookies, local storage, and advertising
The current public version does not place advertising cookies or show advertisements. Site-ownership verification and an advertising review may occur before ads are enabled. Before Google advertising begins, this policy will be revised to describe the active configuration and an appropriate consent mechanism will be shown where required before non-essential advertising storage is used.
After advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, personalize, measure, and limit ads. Available choices will depend on location and applicable law. Users can learn more through Google’s advertising technologies information.
How information is used
- Deliver and secure pages, images, and other requested content.
- Respond to support, privacy, accessibility, and correction requests.
- Diagnose reliability or abuse using limited technical logs.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce the site’s terms.
Sharing and retention
Information may be processed by vendors that provide hosting, content delivery, security, email, and—only after it is enabled—advertising. We do not sell the content of support emails. Technical logs and messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed for their purpose, security, or legal requirements.
Children
MnemoWords is intended for learners aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this public site. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information can request its deletion through the contact page.
Your choices and requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal information. Contact MnemoWords with enough detail to understand the request. We may need to verify that a requester is entitled to act on the relevant information.
Changes to this policy
The effective date will change when this policy is materially revised. Major product additions—especially accounts, analytics, personalized advertising, AI-generated content, or payments—require a fresh privacy review before release.
